Axolotl
I like my axolotl
I keep her in a bottle
And if I’m feeing cross or mad
Or down or hurt or bad
I pull the cork and let her out
With fiery roar and shout
She flashes sparks and bellows loud
And throws her weight about
And when the monster’s scared
my friends made them hide upstairs
I catch the raging, stamping beast…and put her right back there.
Axolotl in a bottle, I really like you such a lotl.

gills are starting to form, and when you watch them, you can see them jump occasionally! they're twitching about as they grow...
they're due to hatch on Sunday.. :)

axolotls can't be mixed with fish... well, they would enjoy the feast!
i have seen one in a fish tank, but in general... it can't be done.
so the axies will be in their own tank... they'll stay in the tank they're in for a bit, but as they get bigger, they'll have to be seperated, in to smaller groups, so they don't eat each other!

Hi just thought I'd say hello as I also have eggs from kerry. a few of them where hatched when they arrived!(sat morning) and they are all nealy hatched now. I'll keep checking here to see how yours are doing....after all they are brothes and sisters! xxx

like the pics of your eggs, i have three axolotl's. i am hoping to breed them. i do have them in with ten mountain minnows and as long as they are well fed they dont bother each other, they do look nice together in the tank x
